Obituary for Eleanor M. Fenn

Eleanor M. Fenn, 87, formerly of Maple Downs in Fayetteville, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at Stonehedge-Chittenango Nursing Home in Chittenango. Born in East Aurora on Saturday, November 23, 1918, she was the daughter of Gertrude Wittkowski and Frank L. Meyer. Eleanor grew up in Syracuse until moving to Camillus and retired in Florida. A graduate of St. Lucy's School, she was a former communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She was a member of the Third Order of the Society of St. Francis. She enjoyed square dancing, Florida and the beach.

Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, William.

Surviving are her daughter, Linda Fenn of Alameda, California; sons, Gary of Canastota and David of Camillus; grandchildren, Kristin, Mathew and Reneé Fenn and niece, Lynn Meyer.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus and at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Friday, July 21, 2006 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
