Condolence: To the entire Thornton family, Joe and I had a special friendship for many years. A gruff soul but I loved him anyway. I will never forget Joe, you had a wonderful son & brother who will be greatly missed. Godspeed my friend, until we meet again. RIP "Timmy" .

Condolence: Hey Joe, keep it between the lines up there, would ya? I pray that your family will feel God's peace come about them and wrap themselves in the comfort of His hands.

Condolence: I have never met you but I spent many, many great times with Joe. Kate brought him to our home for cookouts and he shared some of our family occasions including my daughter’s wedding. We always enjoyed his quick humor. He wore a tough exterior but was very kind, considerate and always willing to help. It is so hard to understand why we loose our loved ones so early in their life.
