My wife and I extend our sympathies to Carol's family. I knew her in high school and had the greatest respect for her. I am sure she had made her family proud as a mother and wife, and in her professional life. Occasionally when I see her mother, Helen, she speaks of Carol with obvious pride and love.

I knew Carol when we were in high school at Kennebunk. We sometimes made jokes about the fact that we were born on the same day. One morning each week, the high school kids of our church would gather together before school and have breakfast and a spiritual message. The fun part was what we had for breakfast. We each took turns at that and sometimes they were quite creative. Spaghetti was common as well as coloured pancakes with unusual ingredients. It was a pleasure knowing her as well as her folks and her siblings.

Carol hired me back in 1985 when I was embarking on my second career. She was the kindest, most courageous person I know. She did so much for so many in a very quiet way. It was a privilege to be associated with her. DJF will never be the same. In the beginning, Pat Ryan, Carol and I were situated near each other. Now only me. My deepest sympathy to the family she loved so very much. I will never forget Carol!

Carol helped me get my second "chance" at a career that I hope to have until I retire. For that I will always be grateful. She's a beloved member of the MLMIC family and I've seen her quite a lot since March of 1995 and I will miss her very much. I think she was the queen at multi-tasking, just watching her action made me dizzy sometimes. She organized luncheon meetings, inter-office holiday feasts and was always smiling and lending an ear to everyone who needed her. RIP and God Bless.
